Liberal Girls Thirsty for the Cup

The Liberal girls soccer team won their opener at the Wichita North Cup Monday 1-0 over the Wichita West Pioneers. Crystal Vela scored Liberal’s goal thanks to an assist from Jasmine Chacon. Magali Vazquez had three saves. Liberal is 5-6 and plays Wichita Heights Wednesday at 5:30 in the second round of the Wichita North Cup.
