Zoey Torres is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore infielder and pitcher Zoey Torres is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Torres was named first team all WAC in softball last week.  Torres led Liberal hitting .433 with six doubles, three triples, 13 RBI’s, 11 runs, and 26 hits.  She also logged 37 innings as a pitcher with 25 strikeouts.  Torres is currently playing for the Liberal Venom.  She hit two grand slams in a game at Dodge City on Saturday.  She is also involved in volleyball, basketball, NHS, and the Coloring Club at LHS.
