July Speeding safety campaign stressed Slow Down and Make Road Safety a Priority

The Seward County Sheriff’s Office joined law enforcement across the country during the July Speeding safety campaign. From July 7th – July 15th, officers increased presence on local roads educating drivers on the consequences of speeding, and save lives.

 

During the enforcement campaign, deputies made 383 enforcement stops.

  • 38 – speeding citations
  • 6 – seat belt and child restraint citations
  • 169 – other citations and arrests
  • 170 – warnings
