Yucca Ridge holds ‘OPEN’ Championship

 

The Yucca Ridge Golf Club hosted its 2020 Yucca Ridge ‘OPEN’ Championship
this past weekend following a crazy summer of COVID golf. This 2-day,
36-hole event is played as an individual championship to see who will get
their name up on the wall plaque for 2020.

 

The new ‘OPEN’ Champion for 2020 at Yucca Ridge is Jon Howard. Jon finished
with a score of 182 over both days and finished 3 strokes in front (rt in
photo w/Supt Trent Kitch). Ed Rangel and Todd Vanley finished tied for
second. They went back out for a sudden-death playoff. Still tied after
one they headed over to hole #5 where Ed Rangel made a long putt for par to
secure second place. Ron Prentice finished in fourth place for the 2-day
event.

 

The golf course is still open every day going into the fall. If you have
