Wichita South Sinks Liberal

Liberal struggled shooting and taking care of the ball in a 76-44 loss at Wichita South Saturday afternoon. Liberal committed 24 turnovers and went 3-17 from three point range in the loss. The Redskins shot 28 percent from the field. The Titans shot 60 percent from the field.
The Titans led 23-5 after one and 40-13 at halftime. It was 62-32 after three and the fourth quarter was played with a running clock.
Carson Chamberlain scored eight. Brooks Kappelmann and James Fieser had seven a piece. Kappelmann and Zayden Martinez had seven rebounds a piece.
South is 3-3 and Liberal is 3-2. Liberal hosts Hugoton Tuesday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
