Liberal senior wrestler Victor Monarrez is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Monarrez is 19-7 and 195 pounds for the Redskins. Liberal competes at the Rocky Welton Invitational at Garden City Friday and Saturday. Monarrez also played football for the Redskins.
