USD 480 Adds ESL Positions

The USD 480 Board of Education met at East Campus Monday evening and after approving the Consent Agenda, the Board approved WebKIDSS IEP Management System for School Year 2026-2027. WebKIDSS is the IEP Management system for USD 480. This program helps case managers write IEPs for students throughout the year. In addition, WebKIDSS also stores files for students with 504 plans and SIT plans. There was no price increase over last year.

Also approved was the braille service agreement between USD 480 and Southwest Kansas Area Cooperative, and the contract with Motor Mouth to provide Special Education Extended School Year (Summer School) Speech Services for June.

Teaching Tuition Agreements were approved for Jessica Winner and Dalila Gonzalez-Morales and Teaching Tuition Amendments were approved for Sydney Minor, Margarita Washington, and Philip Kinsinger.

The Board approved the addition of an ESL certified position at Eisenhower Middle School and Bright Start Early Learning Center.

Relay Education Training in the amount of $15,000 was approved with the funding to come from a Grant previously approved by the Board.
