On Saturday, January 3, Liberal Wrestling Club kicked off the year with 24 of their
wrestlers at the Scott City Jr. Classic.

LWC had three wrestlers take first at this tournament. Each person who received first got
a banner to bring home in place of a medal or trophy. Jason Fraire received a banner with 3 pins
for the day. Emylia Torres also brought home a banner and had 2 pins. This was her first
tournament ever. Kendall Mosttler also received a banner and had 4 pins for the day. She also
had the 3rd fastest pin of the whole tournament on Saturday.

Liberal Wrestling Club will have wrestlers traveling to three different tournaments over
the weekend. The club has 3 attending Leoti on Saturday, 15 attending Amarillo on Saturday
and 13 attending Dodge City on Sunday
