Third Ranked Seward Defeats Dodge City

Liberal Kan- On the road, the Seward County Community College Lady Saints Volleyball team beats Dodge City 25-15, 25-11, 25-16 in a sweep.

The first set the Lady Saints would start slow and the Conquistadors would battle early on as the Lady Saints led 11-10. With a timeout by Coach Trifonov the Lady Saints would come out and win 14 out of the last 19 points.

After taking a one-set lead the Lady Saints would come out with extra motivation and work quickly. Lady Saints would take the second set 25-11, to take a 2-set lead over Dodge City.

Entering the third set the Lady Saints would have some uncharacteristic mistakes and had a season-high with 12 ball hitting errors for the entire match. With those mistakes the Lady Saints still able to get under control to win the third and final set 25-16.

The Lady Saints will be back in action Saturday, October 19th for Dig Pink night to take on Barton Community College at 6:30 pm.
