Stoney Leads Skins at WAC Tennis

The Lady Redskins competed in the W.A.C. Invitational Tennis Tournament in Great Bend on Monday. Garden City took team honors with 12 points. Hays and Great Bend tied for 2nd Place with 10 points. Dodoge City finished with 5 points, and Liberal earned 3 team points.

Individual results:

#1 Singles–Tierra Stoney went 2-2 on the day taking home a 3rd Place medal.
#2 Singles–Valery Esqueda played in her 2nd match ever competed hard but went 0-4 on the day.
#1 Doubles–Jordyn Apsley/Marina Arenivas went 1-3 on the day.
#2 Doubles–Yuzby Torres/Kathy Hernandez went 0-4 on the day.

The Lady Redskins travel to Salina to compete at Regionals on Saturday.
