The Liberal City Commission met on Tuesday evening and approved the submittal for Application for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant which would provide grassland gear for the department. At Tuesday’s meeting,  the City Commission took no action on the architectural and engineering services for the Outdoor Water Recreation Project. They did schedule a Special Meeting for Monday to further discuss and review the project.

Commissioners approved a PEC Work Order No. 26-03, in an amount not to exceed $25,000, that will develop stormwater design standards and draft related regulations for incorporation into the City Code and approved concrete for the Dog Park Project in an amount not to exceed $100,000.
