Seward’s Szydlowska Signs at Arkansas State

Seward’s leading scorer and rebounder is going to play division 1 basketball.  Karolina Szydlowska, a 6′ forward from Wroclaw, Poland has signed to play at Arkansas State.  Karolina was a first team all Jayhawk West player for the Lady Saints this winter.

Szydlowska led 25-7 Seward at 11.3 points and seven rebounds a game for a Seward team which was selected to the NJCAA Tournament.  Szydlowska made 46 three pointers and had 42 blocked shots.  Her career high was a 24 point game against Frank Phillips Nov. 2 in the Green House. Szydlowska averaged 10 points and seven rebounds a game as a freshman.

Arkansas State went 11-19 this winter under coach Matt Daniel.
