Seward’s Goldy Signs at Metro State

Seward County baseball player Peter Goldy has signed to play baseball at Metro State in Denver.  Goldy is a 6’4″ 205 pound dual position player from Centennial, Colorado.  Goldy hit .313 with three homers, 10 doubles, two triples, and 36 RBI’s for Seward this season.  On the mound, Goldy was 0-1 with a 7.42 ERA in 13 and 1/3 innings.  Goldy was Seward’s regular right fielder for a team which went 20-12 and finished second in the Jayhawk West.  Metro State went 34-10 this spring under coach Ryan Strain.
