Liberal, KAN. – The Lady Saints Volleyball team has announced Wade Taylor as the assistant coach for the program.
Coach Taylor is coming off of two seasons as the Athletic Director and Head Volleyball Coach at New Covenant Academy in Los Angeles, California. While in Los Angeles, Coach Taylor was able to oversee the vision and direction of an athletic department and staff after coming off of Covid while competing in the CIF International League. Taylor oversaw all athletic program’s for the academy including boy’s and girl’s high school volleyball.
Prior to Wade’s time in California he was the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Clarendon College in Texas for the 2020-21 season. As an assistant Coach Taylor was in charge of opponent scouting, strength/conditioning training, recruiting and he served as the volleyball program’s academic liaison.
Before heading to Texas Coach Taylor was the Men’s Volleyball Assistant Coach during the Spring of 2020 at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California. Their spring season was subsequently cut short due to Covid-19.
Assistant Coach Wade Taylor is a California native and a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.
Coach Taylor resides in Liberal, KS.
