The Liberal Redskins opened their season Thursday night at Salina South against the Salina South Cougars.  South jumped all over the Redskins 64-42.

Salina South jumped out to a lead of 11-3 in front of their home crowd.  The Cougars led 18-10 after one.  South led 24-13 before LHS cut the lead to 24-17.  Salina South led 31-19 at the half.  The lead ballooned to 15 at 41-26 with 3:44 to play in the third.  The Cougars led 52-27 and led 54-30 after three.

The Redskins play the Campus Colts at about 4:45 Friday afternoon on 1270 and 92.3.
