Saints Wins Three of Four in Nebraska

The #16 Seward volleyball team won two matches on Friday and split two on Saturday in McCook.  On Friday, Seward beat Otero 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-15). Kavlin Giacomelli had 10 kills.  Logan Dodge had seven aces.  Rafaela DaSilva had 23 assists.  Seward then beat Iowa Lakes 3-0 (25-12-, 25-20, 25-15).  Kavlin Giacomelli had 11 kills.  Jessica Sales had five aces and seven digs.  Illeim Terrero had 20 assists.  On Saturday, Seward beat Lamar 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-4).  Sarah Cruz had 10 kills.  Rafaela DaSilva had 22 assists.  Jessica Sales had eight digs.  Western Nebraska, who is ranked #4, beat Seward 3-0.  The Saints lost 20-25, 21-25, 20-25.  SCCC hit .093.  The Saints are 9-2 and host Barton Tuesday night at 6:30 in the Green House.
