Saints Wait to Bury Beavers

KSCB News - January 17, 2011 7:24 am

Seward head coach Bryan Zollinger was afraid of this. He knew Pratt came in winless in two Jayhawk West games and would play desparately. Pratt trailed most of the game but tied it and sent it to overtime before bowing 69-66. Seward led by seven 30-23 at halftime. Jeremy Jones led the Saints with 22 points and five rebounds. Marky Nolen added 11 points and 11 rebounds. Markee Mazyck added 10 points. Seward is 15-3 overall and 3-1 in the Jayhawk West while Pratt falls to 9-8 overall and 0-3 in the Jayhawk West. Seward travels to first place Cloud to play Monday night at 8 p.m. on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.
