LIBERAL, Kan. – Coming off a historic offensive season, the Saints Baseball program and Head Coach Mike Davidson are going to host multiple camps for aspiring baseball players. Coach Davidson is hosting an All Skills Camp from June 26th – 28th and then will host a Pitching Clinic from July 10th – 11th.
First up for this summer is the All Skills Camp from June 26th – 28th which will have two age groups with an ages 8-12 year old’s group and an ages 13 & up group. The ages 8-12 group will have the 8:30-10:30 a.m. CT time slot with registration at 8 a.m. CT. Following them will be the ages 13 & up group who have the 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. CT time slot with registration at 10:30 a.m. CT. The cost for each of the skills camps is $60 per player. This camp is designed to focus on all tools of the game from fielding, hitting, baserunning, etc.
Next up is the July 10th – 11th Pitching Clinic and from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. both days the players will learn the proper technics on how to grow their game on the mound. With the help of Assistant Coach Austin King, the Seward County staff will teach players the proper way to play catch while introducing steps for a productive long toss program. During the day the players will learn the proper arm care routines for pregame and postgame with a heavy focus on proper pitching mechanics. The cost for attendance of this camp is $40 per player.
