For the first time in 13 days, the Liberal Lady Redskins returned to the court Friday night in the Big House. They didn’t show many ill effects of the long layoff. Kylie Rhine drained seven three pointers and scored a career high 22 points as Liberal handled the Pratt Lady Greenbacks 65-51.
Kylie Rhine buried three first quarter three pointers and Liberal led 22-12 after one quarter after Rhine hit a 40 foot bomb at the buzzer. Liberal led 32-21 at the half as Rhine buried five 3’s in the first half. The Lady Red blitzed the Greenbacks 20-5 in the third quarter to lead 52-26 after three.
Rhine is the Black Hills Energy Player of the Game. Maliyah Mullens scored 18 points while Shamari Lewis dropped in 17. She needs 23 for 1,000 career points.
Pratt is 5-11. The Lady Redskins are 10-2 and 5-0 at the Big House. Liberal plays at Hooker Tuesday night at 6:30 on 1270 and 92.3.
