Redskins Soar Past Bluejays

Everybody played and everybody scored.  The #4 Liberal Redskins dominated the Cimarron Bluejays 69-37  on Valentine’s Day in the Big House. The game was played with a running clock in the fourth quarter.  Liberal made 61 percent of their shots and went 9-17 from the three point line in the win.

The Redskins led 25-8 after one and 40-19 at halftime.  The Skins led 58-31 after three.  Markalyn Eatmon made four three pointers and scored 12 while Kylan Thomas and Cole Evans had 11 a piece.  Tyrik King led LHS with six rebounds.

The Redskins are 15-2 for the first time since 2008.  The Bluejays are 12-6.  Liberal hosts Great Bend for homecoming Saturday night at about 8 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
