LIBERAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES GAME AT ULYSSES WEEK 4

Liberal High School is announcing a varsity football game at Ulysses Friday, September 25th at 7:00pm.  This is a location and event change from a previously scheduled game at Coffeyville Field Kinley. Due to COVID-19, schedules and events remain fluid and ever-changing.  We suggest following Liberal High School social media accounts and our activity website for the most updated information.

Liberal High School and USD 480 remain committed to providing our students with as many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities as possible.  In August, we lost our week 4 opponent when USD 259 (Wichita) cancelled all fall activities.  On September 17 the possibility of traveling to Coffeyville Field Kinley presented itself, but when Ulysses lost their week 4 opponent (Chanute), both schools agreed on September 18 to face off in Ulysses.

Ulysses has implemented COVID-19 protocols that include a requirement to wear a mask when entering/exiting the facility and when unable to social distance.  Concessions will also be available and as of the time of this release, there are no crowd size restrictions.  Liberal last faced Ulysses in 2017, resulting in a 21-12 victory for the Redskins.  Friday night will be Ulysses’ homecoming game.
