The Dodge City Red Demons swept all three games over Liberal this season.  Tuesday night in front of a big crowd at Demon Field in Dodge City, the Red Demons beat Liberal 8-2.  That’s after two wins over Liberal in Liberal last week.

Dodge scored four in the first.  Two runs were earned and two were unearned due to an error.  All four runs came with two outs.  The Demons added three more in the fourth for the 7-0 lead.  Two runs came with two outs.  Liberal scored two in the fifth.  Austin Dodge and Bentlee Betts singled.  Dodge scored on an Elder Ramirez ground out.  Kye Morris lined an RBI triple to right to make it 7-2.  Dodge City put up an unearned run in the sixth.  DCHS out-hit LHS 10-4.  Liberal had two errors.  Kye Morris was Black Hills Energy Player of the Game going 2-3 with an RBI triple.

Dodge City is 10-12 and 6-6 in the WAC.  Liberal drops their seventh straight falling to 9-16 overall and 2-9 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Hays Thursday at 4pm to wrap up the regular season.
