Rattlers Unbeaten at Garden City Tournament

The Liberal Rattlers went 4-0 at Garden City’s tournament which concluded Sunday at Lightner Park in Garden City. Liberal beat the Buckley Bombers 8-2. The Rattlers scored three in the third, two in the fourth, one in the fifth, and two in the sixth. Adam Mendoza was 3-3 with two doubles and a triple. Gus Eyler was 3-3. Carson Peters hit two doubles. Cade Thomas pitched six strong innings for the win. The Rattlers are 13-5.
