The Liberal Rattlers opened the 2026 season early Friday morning.  The Rattlers fell 13-3 to the ASA A’s at the Genesis Sports Complex in Goddard.  The A’s are made up of players primarily from Kapaun and Bishop Carroll.  The A’s scored 10 in the first inning.  Aiden Seymour pitched three innings and allowed one earned run.  Bren Kappelmann hit a double.  Liberal plays the Wichita Grays Saturday at 2:15 and the Kansas Curve Saturday night at 8:30 in Goddard.
