Former Bee Jay pitcher Paul Bonzagni was selected in the 12th round by the Texas Rangers in the Major League Baseball draft. The Southern Illinois University right handed pitcher played for the Liberal Bee Jays in 2022. He was 5-0 with a 2.53 ERA. He struck out 55 and walked 11 in 42 and 2/3 innings while helping the BJ’s to a 34-6 season. He is 6’3″ 180 from Grapevine, Texas.
