Just before noon on Monday, Perryton Firefighters were alerted to a fire that had started in a bar ditch in South West Ochiltree County. First arriving units on scene found a rapidly spreading vegetation fire that had extended from the bar ditch to a pasture. Firefighters conducted an aggressive direct attack and the fire was held to approximately 15 acres.
