Tyler Brent McBride, 22 died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Pittsburg, Kansas.

He was born on April 24, 1992 at Liberal, Kansas.

He is the son of Tony and Rhonda (Jones) McBride of Hugoton, they survive.

Tyler graduated from Hugoton High School in 2001.He formally attended college at Fort Hays State University for three years, and was currently attending Pittsburg State University, in Pittsburg, Kansas. He lettered all four years in wrestling at Hugoton High School and wrestled one year in college at Fort Hays State University.

Tyler’s hobbies included sports, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.

Tyler was a member of the First Christian Church of Hugoton, and he was very active in Boy Scouts with his father and brother, becoming an Eagle Scout.

1 Uncle Todd McBride and wife Becky Hugoton

7 Cousins- Christopher Allen and wife Emily, Mitchell Allen, Alex Langton, Reanna Rencin, Diana McBride, and Joshua McBride and wife Tosha.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Bobby McBride, Maternal grandfather William R. Jones, and one uncle Brent William Jones.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00am Tuesday, December 23rd at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, with Pastor Heath Kelly officiating. Burial will take place at Hugoton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9am – 8pm Monday, December 22nd at the First Christian church, with family present from 6 – 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship(Tyler’s youth group in Pittsburg) or Hugoton Boy Scout Troop 189. In care of Brenneman Funeral Home-1212 W. 2nd-Liberal, KS 67901.
