On July 16, 2026, Haskell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 100th block of East Comanche Street in Satanta. After contacting the driver, identified as Christopher Summers, deputies were advised that the individual had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Riley County and proceeded to transport Summers to the Haskell County Jail. Upon arrival, Summers agreed to a Drug Recognition Expert Evaluation and was subsequently placed into custody for arrest by law enforcement officer; warrant arrest, driving while under the influence, transporting open container, and driving while suspended.
