Tommy J. Burton

Tommy J. Burton, age 60, passed away early Sunday morning, October 15, 2023, at the Fowler Residential Care Center, Fowler, Kansas.

He was boron November 3, 1962, at Columbus, Kansas, the son of Leonard and Virginia (Aubert) Barkdoll. As a young boy, the family lived in several communities including Goodland, Kansas. He later attended college in Kansas City, receiving his undergraduate degree, he was a carpenter.

He enjoyed collecting various items, listening to music including George Strait, working on cars, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by three brothers, Kenny Burton, Gary Barkdoll, and Larry Barkdoll; two sisters, Debbie Hall and Colleen Hodges; and several nieces and nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eddie Barkdoll.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune. The casket will remain closed.
