Theresa “Sissy” Kay Walker, age 69, died Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.
She was born on February 19, 1952, the daughter of James Leroy Cypret and Geraldine (Davis) Cypret in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Sissy graduated Liberal High School in 1970 and married the love of her life, Billy Walker on February 27, 1970. Together they raised four children, Jeremy, Gina, Lindsay and Carrie. Sissy worked as a secretary for Cypret Glass, Glass Connection, Walmart and the Sheriff’s Office. She loved gardening. Sissy could grow anything. She was a fabulous gardener. She also loved her family, especially her grandkids. Sissy was an avid shopper.

Danny Cypret and wife, Deborah of Lubbock, Texas
Greg Cypret and wife, Cheryl of Maumelle, Arkansas
17 Grandchildren, Austin and Adarian Head, Chancellor, Haley, and Madisen McMullin, Devon Walker, Devon Hall, Jordan and Josie Hall, Cyndey Dees, Mari Beeby, Xavier, Jeraldine, Scarlett, Stormy, Lyric and Lakin Walker
6 Great Grandchildren, Brecken Thomason, Haevyn Jackson, Luxlyne McMullen, Izayh Arzate, Asher Hall, and Brady Hall.

Her sister, Glenda Gayle Cypret, and
Her brother Michael Cypret
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, the family will be present to greet friends.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday December 13, 2021, at the First Southern Baptist Church, 621 Western Avenue, Liberal, Kansas. Pastor Rex Petty presiding.
