Terri Lea Delay

Terri Lea Delay, 63, of Tyrone, OK passed away on Sunday December 17, 2023 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.

She was born on April 5, 1960 to Charles and Darlene (Grover) Delay at Wichita, KS.

Terri was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1978. She loved animals and worked at Oohs & Aah’s Pet Store becoming a co-owner before retiring. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and helping others. Terri was also a caregiver for close friends and family in their final days. She especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Terri is survived by her partner of 20 years Jim Earnest, her two Daughters Jennifer Montenegro and husband Obed of League City, TX; Crystal Ratzlaff and husband Dave of Turpin, OK, 10 Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren, Brother, Melvin “Bob” Robert Delay and wife Eva of Cawker City, KS; Two Sisters, Pamela Bennett and husband Jim of Bellvue, CO, Dixie Ann Symons and husband Bee of Liberal, KS, several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Ronnie Charles Delay and Sister in Law LeAnn Delay.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place per Terri’s wishes.
