Stephen Dean Harp

Stephen Dean Harp, age 59, of Ulysses, Kansas died Saturday, December 01, 2012 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born November 13, 1953 in Ulysses, Kansas , the son of Luther and Geraldine (Mead) Harp.

Stephen drove truck for Popejoy Construction, Kroy Industries and Pete Woods Construction. He was a beadwork craftsman in his spare time.

He is survived by one son, Lowell Paul Harp of Cheyenne, Wyoming; three daughters, Kayla Sue Harp of Wichita, Kansas, Shawnna Marie Sears of Wichita, Kansas, and Jessica Harp of Ulysses, Kansas; mother, Gerladine Harp of Ulysses, Kansas; two sisters, Beckie Fuentes of Houston, Texas, and Linda Smith of Ulysses, Kansas; and six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Luther in 1992.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses, Kansas with Reverend Bill Harrold officiating. Memorial contributions may be given in lieu of flowers to Stephen Harp Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave , Ulysses , KS 67880 .
