Shirli Mae Poulton

Shirli Mae Poulton, 75, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023 at her home.

She was born on June 9, 1948 to Walter Mutschler and Thelma Abbott at Liberal, KS.

In 1970 she married Skeet Poulton; he preceded her in death in 2009.

Shirli was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1966. She worked as an Office Manager for Adelphia Cable Company for 30 years before retiring in 2009. Shirli enjoyed crafting, garage sales, working in her yard, Pinterest, and being a sports mom. She also loved spoiling her grandchildren. Shirli was a caregiver who would help anyone in need. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of Liberal.

Shirli is survived by her children, Skeety Poulton and wife Katie of Liberal, KS, Shelisa Allen of Liberal, KS, Paul Poulton and wife Beverly of Ganado, TX, Brent Poulton and wife Molly of Ganado, TX Cyndi Poulton of Ganado, TX; Sister, Carolyn Rice and husband Jimmie of Liberal, KS; 10 Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. Her special friends, Sharon Zwick of Pueblo, CO, Ricky Steele of Liberal, KS. and her second mom Dru.

She was also preceded in death by Mother, Thelma F Redmond, Father, Walter R Mutschler, Two Brothers, John Warren and Charlie Joe Baker.

Per Shirli’s request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
