Sheila Marie Watson

Shelia Marie Watson 59, died April 19, 2012 at North Colorado Medical
Center in Greely, CO.

She was born March 12, 1953 in Beaver, OK the daughter of Edward and
Lenora Alice (McAhren) Chance. She had been a longtime Liberal area
resident before moving to Greely, Co.

She is a 1971 graduate from Liberal High School and she earned her
Associates degree from Seward County Community College.

She had worked as a Secretary and Bookkeeper for Beech Aircraft and was
an officer at Citizen Bank. While living in Greeley she worked for the
United Way as the director of Promises for children.

On July 7, 2006 she married Vernon “Gene” Watson in Liberal, KS. He survives

Preceded in death by parents, daughter Alicea Avers, brother Victor Chance.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First
Presbyterian Church with Pastor Stephen B. Saville presiding. Burial
will be in Liberal Cemetery.

Visitation time will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brenneman
Funeral Home.
