Elaine Dill

Elaine Dill, 91, passed away on June 1, 2023, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, in Hugoton, Kansas.

She was the daughter of Cloyd James and Ruby Eliza (Owens) Pennington, she was born on April 12, 1932, in Ness City, Kansas.

She and Gene Dill were married on July 4, 1953, Larned, Kansas. To this union were three children Cynthia, Richard, and Russel. Gene preceded her in death.

Earlier years she very much enjoyed travelling both in the US and abroad. Elaine enjoyed her home, and yard and avid walker all her life.

Elaine and Gene were owners of DillCO Fluid Service of Hugoton. Elaine work for USD 210 as Junior High School Secretary.

Survivors include a daughter Cynthia Dill of Hugoton, Kansas and grandson Ry Nash Dill of Austin, Texas and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Richard and Rusell Dill; six brothers, Robert Pennington, Charles Pennington, Roy Pennington, Jim Pennington, Ralph Pennington and Dick Ashcraft; two sisters, Mildred Irene and Etta Jean Darnall.

A memorial has been established for Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, in care of Robson Funeral Home, PO. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

There will be no service as cremation has taken place.
