Ronnie Frank Meyer, 83 years old, went to be with his Lord on November 27, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Ronnie was born September 7, 1939, in Fowler, Kansas to Clifford and Wilma (Eccleston) Meyer.

He and Patsy Sue (Aaron) Ratliff were united in marriage on October 3, 1980, in Clayton, New Mexico. They recently celebrated 42 years of marriage. They were very blessed to be able to watch their children and grandchildren participate in many activities over the years. Ron loved to fish whether he was catching trout or white bass, he enjoyed the lake.

Ronnie was a member of the Nazarene Church of Hugoton for many years. He was a talented woodworker and showed that through the many pieces he made including a cradle for every child’s family. He loved to work in his yard, and his John Deere tractor, which almost every grandchild got to ride with “Dado”.

Ron worked as the transportation director for USD 210 for 21 years.

Survivors include three sons, Leonard Meyer and wife Brenda, Avondale, CO., Mike Meyer and wife Jennifer, Newton, KS., and Aaron Ratliff and wife Dana, Amarillo, TX.; four daughters, Tammie Miller and husband Tom, Quapaw, OK., Risa Meyer, Hugoton, KS., Carman Wilson and husband Roger, Amarillo, TX., Shara Bane and husband Andy, Elkhart, KS.; brother, Gary Meyer, Fowler, KS.; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Wilma (Eccleston) Meyer.

A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. with family receiving friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at 2 P.M., at First Christian Church, Hugoton, Kansas. Burial to follow at Hugoton Cemetery.

Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is overseeing the arrangements.
