Ronald Cordell Reed, 86, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020, at his home in Rolla, Kansas.

He was born August 31, 1933 in Noble, Oklahoma to Ovie Clarence and Mildred Viola (Poole) Reed.

Ronald Reed and Temple Hurd were married September 11, 1953 in Udall, Kansas. To this union were three children; Kathy, Mike, and Greg.

Mr. Reed as the kids called him at Rolla High School where he was a school teacher and coach. He started in August of 1961 and retired in May of 1993. Ron and Temple were active in Rolla and with the schools. They were a part of Rolla Booster Club and United Methodist Church of Rolla.

Survivors include sons, Greg Reed and wife Raquel, Wichita, KS and Mike Reed, Rolla, KS; daughter, Kathy Reed and husband Mackie Redd, Hillsboro, NM; grandchildren, Kirsten Kramer and husband Josh, Peck, KS, Kaitlyn Wasigner and husband Kyle, Park City, KS, Marisa Weaver and husband Richie, Dennison, TX, Montana Redd, Las Vegas, NV, Natty Mourglia and husband Todd, Joplin, MO, Maya Stucky and Ellie Stucky, Wichita, KS; great-grandchildren, Gavin Mourglia, Matt Dennison, Bailey Dennison, Nora Wasinger, and Mia Wasinger; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Temple Lee; parents, Ovie and Mildred; brothers, Darrell and Donald Reed; sister, Betty Yoder.

A memorial has been established for Rolla Hope and Rolla Lions Club. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2020, 2 PM to 8 PM and Thursday, June 4, 2020, 10 AM to 8 PM with family receiving friends 6 PM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.

Graveside service will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at 9 A.M. at Rolla Cemetery. Memorial service will be held following the graveside service at 10 A.M. at the Rolla Track and Field. Social distancing should be utilized for people in attendance for safety.
