Richard L. “Dick” Lash

Richard L. Lash, 74, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012.

He was born July 25, 1937, in Vicksburg, Mich.

He married Betty Doerfler Nov. 25, 1958, in Liberal. She survives.

He was employed at Tradewind Industries for 30 years and then worked part time for Abbott Construction.

He enjoyed fishing with his wife and grandchildren.

Other survivor include three sons, Bill (Mattie) Lash, Vicksburg, Mich., Mark (Tangela) Lash, Jacksonville, Fla., and John (Julie) Lash, Wichita; one daughter, Mona (Dennis) Holder; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Cleon and Irene Lash; mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Bill Scarlett; two brothers, Dale Lash and Lloyd Siscoe.

Memorial mass at 10 a.m., Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N. 119th St. W., Wichita, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 3210 W. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67213.
