Randall Gene Scott, age 69, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born on October 21, 1953, in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Elmar Scott and Birge Mae Scott.
Randall attended school in Garden City, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Leona Paula Jones on September 27, 2002, at the Church of Christ. Randall worked in maintenance at Walmart retiring in 2019. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Randall was much loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Paula Scott, brother, David Scott of Oklahoma, and sister, Ruth Ellen Scott of Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elmar Scott, mother, Burge Mae Scott, two brothers, Charles Scott, and, James Scott, and four sisters, Delta Jo Scott, Krista Scott, Trista Scott, and Sue Blagg.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Memorial Chapel, the church building East of the funeral home, 1121 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
A burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery, 2901 N 3rd Street, Garden City, Kansas.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Final Expenses in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
