Ralph Duane Stoddard

Ralph Duane Stoddard, 95, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton, Kansas.

Ralph was the tenth child of ten children born to Harry Herbert and Nora Birch (Ferguson) Stoddard. He was born on April 27, 1928, Liberal, Kansas.

Ralph and Norma Crawford were married on June 6, 1948 in Hugoton, Kansas. To this union were four children, Roy, Dennis, Cynthia and Jill. He was a lifetime resident of Stevens County, Kansas.

Ralph served in the United States Navy.

Ralph was a member of Bethel Friends Church of Hugoton.

Ralph was a Farm Bureau Board member for nine years, Senior Center Board Member for ten years, and Pioneer Electric Cooperative Board member for 22 years.

Along with being very involved and serving his community, he enjoyed ranching, farming, and dancing.

Survivors include wife, Norma Stoddard; a son, Roy Stoddard and wife Debbie; two daughters, Cynthia Martin and husband Ron all of Hugoton, Jill Rodriquez and husband Richard, Castle Rock, Colorado; Seven Grandchildren, nineteen Great Grandchildren, five Great Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by parents, son, Dennis Stoddard, granddaughter, Melissa Estridge; five brothers, Russell, Ted, JD, Harrold and Pete; four sisters, Nina Morgan, Opal Richardson, Geneva Bruner, and Lavonne Norris.

A memorial has been established for Heritage Christian Academy and Pheasant Heaven Charities. In the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 023 at 10:00 AM at Hugoton Assembly of God Church, Hugoton, Kansas. Burial to follow at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton.

Viewing will be Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2 PM to 8 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
