Patricia (Pat) Ann Lane 82 went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Hot Springs, AR at CHI St Vincent Hospital with her daughter and son at her side.
Pat was born April 25, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI to Herbert Buske and Josephine (Flees) Malczewski.
She married George Kokemueller on August 11, 1962, and moved to Caledonia, WI. She had three children. In August of 1978, the family moved to Hot Springs, AR where they owned Cochran’s Cottages on Lake Hamilton.
Pat met Galard Lane of Johnson, KS in 1993 and they married November 24, 1997. They traveled to many horse race tracks as they owned and trained thoroughbreds. She resided part of each year in Johnson, KS and part in Hot Springs, AR.
She later met Lowell Jones of Johnson, KS and they married July 4, 2005. When she retired from Oaklawn Park Race Track she permanently moved to Johnson, KS.
In 2024 she moved back to Hot Springs, AR to live with her daughter, Debbie.
Pat was a housewife, keypunch operator and worked in Hot Springs, AR for Weyerhauser, St. Joseph’s Hospital and many many years at Oaklawn Park Race Track as a teller/line manager until she retired.
In Pat’s younger years she enjoyed camping, boating, bowling, crocheting and being a Girl Scout leader. Later, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She always enjoyed traveling and went on many trips throughout the country and with Stanton County Seniors; spending time with her sisters-in-law; and her lunches with friends and neighbors at the Stanton County Senior Center. She loved the small-town life in Johnson, KS. Pat was a die hard Packer fan. She was of Lutheran faith and loved her Savior.
Pat is survived by her daughter Debbie (Joe) Lijewski; sons Greg Kokemueller and George Kokemueller Jr all of Hot Springs, AR; stepdaughter Misty Neuman of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren: Kirby Newcomb, Garrett Lijewski, Lindie Perry and Dakota Kokemueller; several great-grandchildren and her sister Nancy Skurulsky of Fox Lake, WI. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law and extended family and friends of Johnson, KS.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Malczewski; third husband, Lowell (d. 2019); second husband, Galard (d. 2003) stepdaughters, Linda Briggs and Tina Roark.
The family will have a celebration of life on her birthday at Oaklawn Race Track in Hot Springs, AR. She will have a graveside service and inurnment at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, KS on May 9, 2026.
