Patricia Bitner

Patricia Bitner, age 78, of Ulysses, Kansas died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born May 27, 1933 in Elkhart, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest and Vesa (Cox) Bitner.

Patricia grew up on the farm in Stanton County. She enjoyed copying book, and the Bible; building puzzles, and playing dominoes. She loved animals and John Wayne. Patricia attended Catholic mass at the care home.

She is survived by her sister, Cleo Wittenstein and husband Marvin of Ormond Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lillie Elaine Bitner.

Memorial service will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Pastor Steve Bridwell officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson. Memorial contributions may be given to The Legacy at Park View in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
