Pammy Taylor

Joe Denoyer - January 24, 2022 6:43 pm

Pammy S. Taylor, age 64, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the Meade District Hospital, Meade, Kansas.

It is with oceans of tears and broken hearts that our sweet, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Pam, went on to bigger and better things today.

As many of you know, these last two weeks, and especially the last couple of days, have been very excruciating. Pam has not been feeling the best for awhile. She was very ill when she entered the hospital and was diagnosed with Covid. She fought with what little strength she had left, but the fight was too much.

Most people will never understand how close the five of us are. You cannot have five girls, in three years and five months, and all of them not think that they are practically conjoined. And that is why this seems extra difficult. I almost feel like I have had a body part removed.

That gaping hole, in our lives, will not have a physical presence, but will be filled with our memories of laughing, music, creativity, and love. We will continue seeing Pam in her sons, Austin and Trask, along with her grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Ashana, Deja, and Kenley. If we listen, we will be able to hear her, especially her little jabs followed by a snicker. Most of all, we will still be able to feel her, because that is what happens when a physical appendage is removed. You can still feel it.

We know you are not suffering but at peace. That does not make our ache lesson. Just know that you will be part of our lives forever. We love you and will miss you.

Family memorial services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.

The family would welcome memorials to the Pammy Taylor Memorial Fund in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.

Personal condolences may be given to the family at www.fidlerormebachmanmortuary.com
