Natividad Guerrero Sr.

Natividad Guerrero Sr., 82, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at his home in Ulysses, Kansas. The son of Tomas and Lucia (Hernandez) Guerrero, he was born November 8, 1939, in LaMesa, Texas.

He and Juanita Lamas were married in 1971. They had many memories and enjoyed their time together.

He was a faithful member of the Enviados Assembly of God Church. His love for Jesus was passed on to his family.

Natividad enjoyed being a construction worker, electrician, machinery, he was a master of many trades. Other hobbies included dancing, gardening he loved his agave trees, joking and his favorite, eating strawberry ice cream. His memory was impeccable and always remembered his children’s birthdays. Those are calls they will truly miss. He was very social and was well known. He was loved by many and enjoyed cruising around town.

Survivors include his loving wife Juanita Guerrero, Ulysses, KS.; nine children, Martin DeLuna, Amarillo, TX., Billy Guerrero, Ulysses, KS., Chris Guerrero, Hereford, TX., Jimmy Guerrero Sr. and wife Nancy, Ulysses, KS., Cecilia Gonzales and husband Juan, Fountain, CO., Maria Lopez, Ulysses, KS., Juanita Diaz and husband Rogelio Sr., Ulysses, KS., Rachel Esparza, Ulysses, KS., Charlene Guerrero, Ft.Collins, CO.; bonus children, Moses Arredondo, Tracy Torres, and Rocky Arredondo; brother, Stil Guerrero Sr., Garden City, KS.; sister, Corina Vasquez, Ulysses, KS.; thirty-five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Mike Guerrero, Roy Guerrero, Tomas Guerrero and Jose Guerrero, his daughters Charlene Guerrero and Micaella Guerrero and sons Roy Guerrero and Natividad Guerrero, Jr. and granddaughter Cassidy Hinojosa.

A memorial has been established for the family, make checks payable to Juanita Guerrero. In the care of Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main Street, Ulysses, Kansas 67880.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main Street, Ulysses.

The funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Enviados Asamblea de Dios , 600 N. Glenn Street, Ulysses, Kansas.
