Michael Mouzon “Mike” Weatherby, 68, died suddenly Sunday evening on June 6, 2021 at his home in Plains, Kansas. He was born on May 14, 1953 in Liberal, Kansas to Lucille Faye (Polf) and Edwin Mouzon Weatherby. Mike graduated from Liberal High School with the class of 1972. He served the community of Hardesty as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical responder for 16 years. Mike could be counted on to lend a hand any time his friends or family needed anything.
