Matthew Covy Carter, 23, of Liberal, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Wesley Medical Center , in Wichita .
He was born December 14, 1989, at Liberal, to Jayme (Carter) Barrowman and Jose Rodriguez.
He was employed by Sagebrush Apartments as Assistant Manager, then by Gas Lawn-Pro’s.
He loved off-roading, working on his truck, and his German Shepherd, “CASH.”
He is survived by his

Father – Jose and wife Leticia Rodriguez, of Grand Prairie , TX
Step-Brother – Stanley Barrowman and wife Tiffany, of Midwest City , OK
Step-Sister – Gwenn Moore, of Paul’s Valley, OK
Half-Brothers – Luis Angel Rodriguez, and Erick Rodriguez, of Grand Prairie , TX
Half-Sister – Giselle Rodriguez, of Grand Prairie , TX
Aunt – Jennifer Carter, of Denver , CO
Grandparents – Rosemary Weaver and husband Larry, of Liberal
Alfredo and Merced Rodriguez, of Grand Prairie , TX
Step-Grandmother – Barbara Barrowman, of Oklahoma City , OK
Step-Grandfather – Larry Barrowman, of Oklahoma City , OK
Great-Grandmother – Verda Hoffman, of Liberal
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Jim Carter
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at First Southern Baptist Church, in Liberal, with Rev. Randy Caddell, officiating. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery .
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
