Marvin “Marv” Gene Pearson

Marvin “Marv” Gene Pearson, age 83, died February 29, 2016 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS. He was born June 29, 1932 in Watonga, OK the son of V.Y. and Edna (Harverson) Pearson.

He graduated from Oakridge High School, Watonga, OK in 1950. He had been a resident of Liberal since 1960.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 – 1955.

He worked at Nash-finch Foods as a mechanic, retiring in 1999. He worked at Mid-States Diesel as a mechanic from 1999 – 2004.

He was member of the Elks Lodge for 30 years.

Lindell Pearson and wife Sandra Watonga, OK

1 Sister Maxine Strack and husband Frank Watonga, OK

4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
