Lonnie Ray Norris, beloved husband, and father, 77, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, Kansas.

Son of Homer and Valta (Bloom), he was born March 25, 1944, Sabetha, Kansas.

He and Cleta Dorrell were married June 21, 1964, in Fowler, Kansas. To this union were four children: Scott, Randy, LaDonna, and Dana.

Lonnie enjoyed working at Hugoton USD #210 for 30 plus years. He and Cleta loved spending time together. He loved his family and spending time with them. He collected eagles and liked finding eagles.

He was the town watcher and loved driving around. He enjoyed people watching.

Survivors include loving wife, Cleta Kaye Norris, Hugoton, KS.; two sons, Scott Norris and wife Sylvia, Fort Scott, KS., Randy Norris and wife Christy, Edmond, OK.; two daughters, LaDonna Hall and husband Pat, Hugoton, KS., Dana Clinesmith and husband Richard, Hugoton, KS.; two sisters, Bonnie O’Neal and husband DeWayne, Wichita, KS., Saundra Muir and husband John, Denton, NE.; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Amber Collins; great-grandson, Justin Velasquez; brother-in-law, Bill Dorrell.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M., Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, 10 A.M., First Christian Church, Hugoton with Pastor Heath Kelley. Burial to follow at Hugoton Cemetery. The service will be recorded and posted to Robson Funeral Home Facebook Page at a later date.
