Lois M. Thomasson

Lois M. Thomason, 78, Liberal, KS, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012
at Liberal Good Samaritan Center, Liberal, KS.

She was born November 7, 1933 at Otis, KS, the daughter of
John & Evelyn Parks Matal.

She moved to Liberal with her family in 1954, she was an Avon
Representive for thirty-two years and loved her many customers. She was a member of the South Church of God, Liberal, KS.

Lois was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

On January 6, 1951, she married Harold Thomason at Great Bend,
KS. He died September 8, 1997.

Lois is survived by two sons, Harold Thomason Jr. and wife
Debbie, Denison, IA; Jimmy Thomason, Liberal, KS; one daughter,
Iris Thomason, Liberal, KS; one brother Eldon "Cottie" Matal
and wife Ellie, Woodland, CA; eight grandchildren and twelve
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,
two brothers, one sister and a son David Thomason.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday
at the South Church of God, with Pastor Dick Ogle presiding.

Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 9 A.M.-8 P.M. with the family
present to greet friends 6-7:30 P.M., and 9-11 A.M. Friday.
