Larry G. Randle:UPDATE

Larry Randle, age 84, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton, Kansas. He was born March 12, 1928 in Pratt, Kansas the son of H.E. and Helen (Sachs) Randle.

Larry grew up in Pratt and graduated from Pratt High School in 1946. He married Joan King on December 7, 1946 in Pratt. They then moved to Stevens County, Kansas and began farming. Larry was a member of Corn Growers Association, the Elks Lodge and served on the Stevens County Recreation and Stevens County Conservation boards, among others. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. Larry and Joan traveled the world with the Corn Growers Association and traveled to many places in the United States in their camper.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Randle and wife Lenoir of Corinth, Texas, David Randle and wife Teresa of Hays, Kansas, Mark Randle and wife Sherri of Hugoton, Kansas; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joan on November 27, 2011; and brother, Harold Randle of Arvada, Colorado.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Hugoton, Kansas with Pastor Lenoir Randle officiating. Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton, Kansas. Friends may call Friday, April 27, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.
